About Me
Wait … I’m the one behind the camera, not in front of it; the one who writes without signing my name; the one who contentedly observes and then puts on a polished, extroverted act. Recently called “a sophisticate,” I think of myself as “a truth-teller.”
This website is my coming out.
Normie. INTJ. Quiet. Alone. Too creative. Tall blonde. Bi-coastal but living in the Rockies. Love water. Men. Ideas.
Nerd. Ivy educated. PhD in Intellectual History. Degrees in Philosophy and Religion. Chemistry, too.
Worker. Ghostwriter, speechwriter, lecturer and professor.
Creator (small ‘c’). Art. Architecture. Writing. Occasional poetry. Hiking at elevation. Sailing. Surfing. Happy but lousy gardening. One-on-one conversing. Tea and pastry.
Christian. Evangelical. Fluent in the Koine and classical Greek of the Bible (less so the Sanskrit of the Vedas). Living in Paris so working on my French — long way to go toward fluency. Committed. Sincere. Sinful. Trying. Prayerful.
Libertarian. Stopped voting. Gave up on trad politics. Specialist in populist movements. Support ordinary Americans not elitists. And America.
Care-giver. Devoted to elderly father. Slow. Slowing. Former engineer/physicist. Thinks on graph paper. I swear I was adopted!
Finally, I’m divorced (as of August 2019). I’m happier than a clam about this, but it took a lot of pain. Kids in their twenties living their own lives. Looking forward to my next chapter. Waiting is a Christian discipline, as is suffering. I’m an impatient sufferer.
